Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and drive common solutions. Work closely with technical experts who take pride in their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks, helping to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role requires working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in accordance with KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Organise traffic management, coordinating with providers, control teams, and field resources.
  • Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  • Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
