Job summary

Nextech Group Limited in Abingdon, Oxfordshire is seeking an IT Field Engineer to install, configure and support Cisco and Fortinet network devices. The role involves working on customer sites and delivering hands-on IT support.

You will troubleshoot network, server and software issues across Windows Server, M365, Azure and Hyper-V environments, with travel to customer sites required and a full UK driving licence essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, networking or field engineering.
• Good networking knowledge, ideally Cisco and/or Fortinet.
• Experience with Windows Server, Azure and/or Hyper‑V is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and support Cisco/Fortinet routers, switches and firewalls.
• Assist with network infrastructure projects and installations.
• Provide on-site and remote IT support to customers.
• Support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure and Hyper‑V environments.
• Troubleshoot network, server, hardware and software issues.
