Job summary

Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Network) to join the Digital Services Infrastructure Team. The role focuses on ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable infrastructure across hospital and community sites, supporting staff access to critical systems.

Flexible hours and an on-call rota are available. You will deploy, monitor and troubleshoot servers, storage, and networking while maintaining documentation and adhering to NHS security standards and DSPT

Qualifications

• Experience delivering infrastructure services with NHS security guidelines.
• Knowledge of DSPT Toolkit requirements and cyber security best practices.
• Ability to deploy, monitor and troubleshoot servers, storage, networks.
• Familiarity with incident resolution and change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver infrastructure services in line with SLAs and maintain documentation.
• Manage and monitor servers, storage, networking and security systems.
• Ensure compliance with NHS security standards and DSPT requirements.
• Configure, patch, upgrade and troubleshoot infrastructure components.
• Support projects, upgrades, and technology improvements.
• Provide training and mentorship to teams; liaise with suppliers.
