Job summary

Cross Keys Homes is seeking a Neighbourhood Manager to oversee a defined patch of tenanted properties. The role blends office duties with community surgeries and occasional after-hours cover, focusing on tenancy compliance, breaches, and safeguarding referrals.

You will conduct annual property reviews, build tenant relationships, and manage complex cases with multi-agency collaboration. A DBS check and full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience dealing with the public in challenging, sensitive situations.
• Ability to work with multiple agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
• Experience supporting vulnerable people with demonstrable outcomes.
• Experience working with diverse customers where English may not be first language.
• Proven ability to manage and resolve complaints.

Responsibilities

• Manage full tenancy lifecycle including compliance, breaches, sub-letting, abandonment, non-occupation and eviction through to resolution.
• Build positive landlord and tenant relationships and be visible and contactable on tenancy matters.
• Carry out annual tenancy and condition reviews and targeted visits.
• Hold responsibility for resident satisfaction on the patch.
• Handle complex cases involving tenants with mental ill health or disability with colleagues/external agencies.
• Assess safeguarding needs and make referrals to statutory agencies; represent the organisation in safeguarding meetings.
• Take ownership of emergencies across stock (fires, floods, structural issues, repairs, emergency decants).
• Hold regular community surgeries and resolve issues with internal/external partners.
• Ensure tenancy processes meet legal requirements, KPI targets, maximise income and reduce void costs.
• Investigate noise complaints and liaise with asset management.
