Job summary

Galliford Try is recruiting a Managing Quantity Surveyor in Iver for two clean-water filtration projects in the Windsor area. The Iver and Egham schemes have values around GBP40 million and GBP15 million respectively, under an Affinity Water framework with completion planned for December 2027.

The post leads a commercial team and works under NEC4 Option C contracts, handling cost forecasts, valuations, changes, subcontracts and payments while maintaining client and delivery-team relationships

Qualifications

• Cost forecasts and reporting are central to the role.
• Assessment of valuations and changes will be routine.
• Experience with NEC4 and commercial reporting is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a commercial team under NEC4 Option C contracts.
• Oversee contractual notices and compensation events.
• Agree payment applications and manage commercial risks.
