Job summary

Galliford Try Group is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor based in Iver, Buckinghamshire. You will collaborate with various teams and ensure effective cost control and reporting.

The ideal candidate should have a relevant degree and professional experience, along with expertise in complex civil engineering scenarios. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree and/or equivalent professional experience required.
• Experience in civil engineering projects, ideally in the water sector.
• Strong proficiency in IT systems like Excel and contract/cost systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of commercial strategies.
• Manage procurement including preparation and negotiation of contracts.
• Oversee subcontract performance and manage risks and opportunities.
