Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, seeks an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on major water and infrastructure projects. You will drive cost control, contract administration, and value optimisation within a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates will have a Quantity Surveying degree (or equivalent), be chartered or working toward chartership, and possess a strong track record with NEC3/NEC4 contracts across large-scale schemes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior/ managing quantity surveying on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4) and commercial frameworks.
• Proven track record delivering projects with values from tens to hundreds of millions of pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial activities on major infrastructure projects.
• Manage and develop commercial teams.
• Identify and action risks, opportunities and value enhancements.
• Engage with stakeholders and clients to ensure project goals are met.
