Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a National Business Development Manager to drive revenue from major customers in the Plant Attachments sector across London, Birmingham and Bristol regions, with national scope. You will partner with sales and account management to craft and execute a commercial strategy aligned to objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant attachments or construction equipment sales.
• Proven track record in revenue growth with large customers.
• Ability to lead on tender bids ensuring profitability and ROI.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a performance management process for the Plant Attachments Sales community to improve capability, call activity, portfolio and area growth.
• Develop and coordinate training programs to increase product knowledge and height-safety awareness across sales channels and hire desks.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding the customer base, and maximizing existing accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and provide tailored solutions to improve operations.
• Manage and mentor an Account Manager and provide guidance in person and remotely.
• Collaborate with management to forecast hire revenue, track performance, and report progress against targets.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to maintain leadership in plant attachments.
• Identify new markets and strategies to gain market share.
• Develop pricing systems to improve governance and ROI.
• Promote cross-selling across divisions.
