Hudson Shribman in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Lead Business Development Manager to lead a national team of eight BDMs and drive specification-led growth across the UK.

This strategic commercial role focuses on building relationships with major contractors, consultants, end users and industry stakeholders to convert opportunities into sustainable sales, with an onsite location and a salary up to £85k plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong track record of leading field-based sales teams.
• Experience selling through contractors, consultants, specifiers and distribution.
• Knowledge of UK electrical wholesale and contractor markets.
• Experience delivering profitable sales growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a national team of 8 BDMs.
• Create and deliver the national BD and specification strategy.
• Set and deliver sales, pipeline and specification targets.
• Build a strong pipeline of national opportunities.
• Monitor forecasting, conversion and commercial performance.
• Increase product specification and market penetration.
• Develop relationships with major UK electrical contractors, consultants, specifiers and end users.
• Represent the business at customer and industry meetings.
• Drive demand through early-stage specification activity.
• Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers across national accounts.
