Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Learning and Development Advisor to join our Infrastructure team, supporting national programs across Birmingham, London, and Manchester. You will lead learning initiatives, align training with business goals, and drive a culture of continuous development.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver L&D plans, provide expert guidance on learning solutions, and ensure compliance through robust record-keeping and audits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Learning & Development or Training within a commercial or corporate environment.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated and collaborative across multiple teams.
• Experience delivering training sessions and proficient in Microsoft Office for programme administration.
• Willingness to travel nationwide to support projects and learning activities.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing integrated L&D plans aligned with business goals and legislation.
• Identifying skill gaps and delivering targeted learning solutions that support business capability.
• Collaborating with partners to support early careers programmes including graduate schemes and apprenticeships.
• Monitoring and reporting on L&D activity, ensuring accurate record-keeping and supporting audits.
• Driving innovation in learning delivery through digital, blended and workplace learning approaches.
