Job summary

VEA Facilities Management is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee national Hard and Soft FM contracts in a hybrid role (office and home-based). You will lead multi-site operations, manage budgets and drive continuous improvement while supporting business development and major events across the UK.

The position requires strong leadership, client relationship skills, and the ability to travel across the UK as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing multi-site Hard and Soft FM contracts.
• Experience supporting business development and account growth.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Financial and commercial awareness, including budget management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of facilities management services across the UK.
• Manage Hard and Soft FM operations to maintain high service standards.
• Monitor KPIs, service quality and budgets across contracts.
• Drive operational improvements and best practice; support mobilisation of new contracts.
• Support growth of VEA FM across England, Wales and Scotland; build client relationships and contribute to tenders.
• Oversee events facilities management from planning to completion and ensure health and safety compliance.
