Job Description:

Our well-known client is looking for a National Business Development Manager to join their field-based team on a 12-month contract role.

The role involves working closely with dealers to develop strong manufacturer/dealer partnerships, providing support and guidance to achieve mutual objectives.

As this is a national field-based role, you will require a full driving license and the ability to travel nationally with flexibility for overnight stays.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide the primary link between dealers and the manufacturer, fostering a proactive partnership environment.
  • Develop medium and long-term strategies to increase the manufacturer’s market share of Miimo.
  • Collaborate with high-performing robotic dealers to create best practice guides.
  • Organize regional dealer meetings for updates, training, and coaching.
  • Develop and promote the HRGC Multi-Miimo pitch for RFU clubs.
  • Support ASMs with coaching on Miimo updates and sales best practices.
  • Assist dealers in creating 12-month sales and marketing plans to build consideration and awareness.
  • Familiarize with Miimo through working with newly appointed dealers.
  • Coordinate with branches on Miimo sales developments.
  • Support the Corporate Sales Manager in securing major corporate accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Customer & Area Sales Manager team to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Miimo from sales and technical perspectives for credible training and coaching.
  • Provide in-dealer installation coaching.
  • Manage and motivate dealer staff to provide excellent customer service and meet divisional objectives.
  • Plan and assist with local promotions, shows, and PR activities, leveraging national show programs.
  • Increase national sales of Miimo.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Required:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven sales experience with achieving targets.
  • Team collaboration skills.
  • Analytical skills for data presentation.
  • Knowledge of dealer or distributor sectors.
  • Proficiency in Excel; intermediate in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of sector and competitor activity.
  • Experience in manufacturer/retail environments.
