Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive maintenance assistant to support multi-disciplinary teams across our site. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with carpentry, painting, and minor plumbing, and operate MEWP and forklift as required.

Training will be provided for specific tasks. The role requires a flexible attitude, a valid driving licence, and commitment to health & safety standards in a dynamic facilities environment.

Qualifications

• General awareness of Health & Safety regulation.
• Able to work under own initiative and keen to develop.
• Flexible approach to working hours - on call duties included.
• Semi-skilled would be advantageous; experience in building work is a plus.
• Willing to undertake required Health & Safety training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance tasks across buildings within the site.
• Operate MEWP and forklift as directed.
• Install and dismantle pasma/stair towers (training provided).
• Ensure paperwork is completed to the required standard and for invoicing.
• Maintain safe, tidy work practices in line with H&S requirements.
• Support team members and manage workload efficiently.
