Job summary

OCS are looking for an enthusiastic maintenance operative to join the team on a fixed-term contract. You will provide general maintenance support as part of a multi-disciplined team, covering reactive and planned tasks across the site.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 0730-1600, with duties including routine maintenance, minor carpentry, and safe operation of equipment. The role requires a proactive, safety-conscious individual with the ability to work independently and complete required

Qualifications

Semi-skilled status with building work experience is advantageous.
Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and permit to work.
Willingness to undertake training and development when required.
Ability to work under own initiative and develop skills further.
Valid full driving licence is preferred.
Experience with maintenance equipment and tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Carry out routine planned maintenance tasks across buildings on site.
Assist in pest proofing, painting, carpentry and small plumbing works.
Operate MEWP and Forklift as directed.
Install and dismantle pasma/stair towers with training provided.
Ensure paperwork is completed to the required standard and invoicing data is accurate.
Manage workload, work safely and in line with HS&E requirements.
Support team members and participate in safety briefs.
