Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform PPM, reactive tasks, and plumbing duties on site within a facilities management framework.

You will deliver technical engineering services with minimal supervision for mechanical servicing, repairs, maintenance and installation, and support projects with refurbishment work while maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Craft qualification such as City & Guilds 2350 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2.
• Valid wiring regulations qualification (18th Edition) City & Guilds 2381-18 Level 3.
• Current in-date Grade card/CSCS Card or equivalent qualification.
• Desirable: Inspection & Testing qualification City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award.

Responsibilities

• undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that customer expectations are met.
• carry out plumbing duties on sites as and when required.
• provide a technical engineering service with minimal supervision to the OCS client for mechanical servicing, repairs, maintenance and installation.
• undertake service and maintenance of other assets/trades deemed competent to do so.
• evaluate performance and ensure proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract.
• have basic knowledge of multi-disciplined trades
• general building repairs
• support in-house trades or complete other trade tasks where competent including minor plumbing repairs, tiling, painting and decorating and wet trades.
• support project team's refurbishment works
• support site engineer in undertaking maintenance works including legionella checks and building fabric maintenance
• work in a safe manner at all times, complying with Health & Safety legislation and OCS QSHE policy
