Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a diligent maintenance technician to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems at client sites in the Leicester area. You will ensure works orders and PPMs meet contract SLAs/KPIs, assist with safety documentation, site logs, contractor control, and callout responses, with a driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• NVQ or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services.
• Sound knowledge of safety documentation and site safety procedures.
• CSCS card or equivalent qualification and basic IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems.
• Ensure all delegated reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
• Provide contribution to efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability.
• Complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly.
• Undertake contractor control duties and monitor workmanship to meet standards.
• Support the site supervisor with integrated delivery of contracted services, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements on site.

About The Role

Dates: Monday to Friday. Times: 07:30 to 16:00 with 30mins break

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems
• Ensure all delegated reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within the contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
• Provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and must, therefore, play its part in the overall delivery of service.
• To complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• Support the site supervisor with the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services ensuring that all works are delivered, safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota
• Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
• Must have a current, valid driving licence.
• NVQ, or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services along with proven maintenance experience.
• Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation to ensure site safety procedures are always followed.
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
• Understanding of First Aid
• IT Literate - Basic understanding of Excel & Microsoft products
