Job Title: Multi-skilled Shift Engineer

Location: Suffolk

Salary: £50,000 – £53,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an expanding Engineering team that provides round-the-clock support across a busy production site.

Role Overview:

You’ll be an integral part of the Engineering team, responsible for maintaining equipment, improving machine uptime, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of various production areas, including drying systems, homebrew processing, and site utilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform plant upgrades, planned maintenance, and support small-scale engineering projects
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to equipment breakdowns
  • Support efforts to increase equipment uptime and operational efficiency
  • Consistently uphold health and safety standards
About You:
  • A qualified engineer with strong mechanical and electrical skills
  • Knowledgeable in PLCs and process control systems
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Adaptable and responsive to a dynamic work environment
  • Familiar with Continuous Improvement and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methods
  • Preferably experienced in a food production setting
  • Self-motivated with the ability to deliver high-quality work independently
Working Hours:
  • Average of 42 hours per week
  • 12-hour shifts on a Panama rotation, ensuring full 24/7 site coverage
