Job summary

WR Logistics in Eastleigh is hiring two Multimodal Freight Forwarding Operators to join a busy, office-based team. The role supports movement of shipments across multiple modes from booking to delivery, with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Salary ranges £30,000-£38,000, 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday–Friday, with 25 days holiday. The ideal candidate has freight forwarding experience, a multimodal background is advantageous, and the ability to manage own workload in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding operations.
• Multimodal background advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day freight forwarding operations across multiple modes.
• Coordinate shipments from booking through to final delivery.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, carriers and overseas offices.
• Prepare and check shipping and customs documentation.
• Track shipments and update customers throughout the process.
• Resolve operational issues and respond to customer queries.
• Ensure shipments are handled in line with company procedures.
• Support the wider team with general freight forwarding requirements.
