Midland Heart is recruiting a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to maintain and repair our 35,000 homes. You’ll diagnose and complete a broad range of repairs across occupied and empty properties, using your primary trade plus additional skills.

You’ll work safely, communicate clearly with tenants, and deliver quality workmanship, aiming for right-first-time results. Offering a basic salary of £39,200 per year, enhanced out-of-hours pay, a van and fuel card, full equipment, PPE, mobile devices,

Qualifications

• Experienced in your primary trade with practical skills across one or more additional trades.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work safely on-site and in tenants' homes.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and complete a broad range of repairs and projects across occupied and empty homes.
• Carry out trades work (plumbing, carpentry, plastering, decorating) as appropriate.
• Ensure high workmanship standards and first-time fixes where possible.
