Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking a Multi Trade Operative in Bedfordshire to perform day-to-day carpentry repairs in occupied properties. The role covers doors, frames, skirting, architraves, and windows, with occasional UPVC work.

You will carry out basic plumbing, plastering, decorating, and light joinery, fit kitchens and worktops, and ensure a clean, professional finish in tenants' homes. A permanent role with the potential to progress may follow a temporary period.

Qualifications

• Carry out day-to-day carpentry repairs in occupied properties.
• Install, repair and maintain doors, frames, skirting, architraves and windows.
• Carry out lock changes, adjustments and minor UPVC repairs.
• Complete basic plumbing, plastering, and decorating works as part of multi-trade repairs.
• Fit kitchens, worktops, and carry out minor joinery works.
• Make good around works and ensure a clean, professional finish.
• Work tidy and respectful in tenants' homes.
• Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
• Report any further issues or follow-on works to the office.
• Occasionally help other trades on small make-good jobs

• Make good around works and ensure a clean, professional finish.
• Work tidy and respectful in tenants' homes.
• Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
• Report any further issues or follow-on works to the office.
• Occasionally help other trades on small make-good jobs
