Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd. is seeking a Multi-Trade Team Leader (Working Foreperson) to lead from the front on site, delivering void refurbishment works in Exmouth and manage a team of operatives.

You will set an example on the tools, work alongside the Contracts Manager to ensure high quality delivery at all times, and perform on-site welfare and safety checks.

Qualifications

• Qualified to a minimum NVQ 2 level or equivalent in a core trade (beneficial).
• SSSTS qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
• Sound knowledge of construction processes.
• Ability to lead by example and incentivise a trade workforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front on site delivering void refurbishment repairs and oversee operatives.
• Work alongside Contracts Manager to ensure smooth, high quality delivery.
• Health and safety reporting, welfare checks, and PPE/vehicle/tool inspections.

The Multi Trade Team Leaderrole:

• You'll lead from the front on site, carrying out void refurbismentrepairs, whilst overseeing your team of operatives and assisting with any issues
• Setting an example to the rest of the team on the tools, you will also work alongside our Contracts Manager, ensuring smooth and high quality delivery at all times
• Health and Safety reporting – you will complete on-site welfare checks, including monitoring safe ways of working, PPE, van, and tool/equipment inspections.

What will you bring as a Multi Trade Leader?

• Qualified to a minimum NVQ 2 level or equivalent in a core trade would be beneficial.
• SSSTS qualification would be advantageous but not essential
• Sound knowledge of construction processes
• The ability to 'lead by example' and incentivise an experienced directly employed and sub contract trade workforce
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Working Foreperson role.
