Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to service MOD sites across Marham, Honington, Swanton Morley, Bury St Edmunds and Thetford. The role includes plastering, plumbing and carpentry tasks, with security clearance required for site access.

The position offers a full-time contract, a company vehicle, pension, life assurance and 23 days of annual leave. Training and progression opportunities are available within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (manual).
• UK Security Vetting (UKSV) required.
• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 minimum (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering repairs to a high standard.

• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Ensure works meet safety, quality and customer service standards.
• Use PDA systems to receive and complete job information.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 5:00 pm

Salary: £36,982.40 per annum

We have an opportunity for a skilled and customer-focused Multi-Trade Operative to join a national maintenance and refurbishment provider, covering sites across Marham (Upper Marham), Honington, Swanton Morley, Bury St Edmunds and Thetford.

This role is based on MOD (Ministry of Defence) sites, so successful candidates will be required to undergo security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out plastering repairs to a high standard.
• Undertaking plumbing repairs and minor installations (desirable).
• Completing carpentry works, including repairs and basic joinery (desirable).
• Supporting a wide range of general property maintenance tasks.
• Diagnosing faults and delivering effective, lasting repairs.
• Working independently and as part of a wider team.
• Ensuring all works meet safety, quality and customer service standards.
• Using PDA systems to receive and complete job information.
