Job summary

Fraser Edwards is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Operative to join a long-standing construction contractor on an MOD contract, based in Weeton and the surrounding area. You will undertake plumbing, carpentry, brickwork, sealing, snagging, and plastering tasks across void and tenanted properties.

This role includes a call-out rota (one in four weeks) with standby pay and enhanced rates for call-outs; 4–6 call outs are typically scheduled, with most work completed before 10pm or after 6am.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Plumbing or Carpentry bias
• Core trade qualification
• 5+ years experience in a similar role building/multi-trade

• Undertake plumbing and carpentry tasks on MOD contract.
• Carry out minor brickwork, sealing, patch plastering and snagging.
• Log works via PDA and liaise with customers, clients and staff

Fraser Edwards are currently working with a construction contractor that have been trading for over 50 years in the construction sector providing complete building and maintenance services to private and public clients nationwide.

Due to continued growth, our client is recruiting for Multi Skilled Operative to join the team, to undertake works in the Weeton and local surrounding areas.

The Job:

This role will be on their MOD Contract that our client has going into void and tenanted properties undertaking the following key duties:

• Plumbing
• Carpentry - Hanging Doors, Skirting, Stud Walls, Flooring, Architrave
• Minor Brickwork
• Sealing/Silicone
• Snagging Works
• Patch Plastering
• Logging works via PDA
• Liaising with customers, clients, and staff

This role will include a call out rota, which is 1 in every 4 weeks.

• you will receive a standby fee, paid per day
• All call outs paid at x1.5 hourly rate door to door
• No more than 4 - 6 call outs which normally occur before 10pm and after 6am

Company Benefits:
