Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are seeking an experienced Multi-Trader to join their team, covering MOD sites across West London. This permanent role focuses on planned preventative maintenance and refurbishment, with responsibilities across carpentry, plumbing, plastering and tiling to maintain and improve properties.

You will perform repairs, manage workload to deadlines, keep accurate records, and adhere to health and safety and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Multi-Trader within property maintenance or refurbishment.
• Competent across carpentry, plumbing, plastering and tiling.
• Altro flooring experience would be desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Good attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and refurbishment works across MOD properties.
• Undertake general multi-trade repairs and maintenance as required.
• Carry out carpentry, plumbing, plastering and tiling works.
• Complete repairs, replacements and general property improvement works.
• Carry out flooring repairs and installations, with Altro flooring experience desirable.
• Manage workload effectively and complete jobs within agreed timescales.
• Maintain accurate job records and complete paperwork as required.
• Follow site health and safety procedures and relevant security requirements.

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs and maintenance industry.

An established property services contractor is looking for an experienced Multi-Trader to join their team working across MOD sites around West London. This is a permanent role focused on planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and refurbishment works, offering stability and varied maintenance work across a range of properties.

The Role:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and refurbishment works across MOD properties
• Undertake general multi-trade repairs and maintenance as required
• Carry out carpentry, plumbing, plastering and tiling works
• Complete repairs, replacements and general property improvement works
• Carry out flooring repairs and installations, with Altro flooring experience desirable
• Manage workload effectively and complete jobs within agreed timescales
• Maintain accurate job records and complete paperwork as required
• Follow site health and safety procedures and relevant security requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Multi-Trader within property maintenance or refurbishment
• Competent across a range of trades, including carpentry, plumbing, plastering and tiling
• Experience carrying out planned maintenance and refurbishment works
• Altro flooring experience would be desirable
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Good attention to detail and quality of workmanship
• Good understanding of health and safety practices

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with 6 points or less
• Own hand tools
• Willingness to undergo relevant background checks and any required MOD security clearance

Details:

• Permanent position
• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Covering MOD sites across West London
• Company vehicle provided
