Ian Williams Ltd. in Manchester is seeking a motivated Multi Trade Operative to join the Response team. You will carry out reactive repairs, delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and keep customers at the centre of everything you do.

You will perform predominantly carpentry tasks, with plumbing and plastering where needed, in occupied homes. A full UK driving licence is required, and you will benefit from a 39-hour paid week and on-target earnings potential.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), ideally in Carpentry, with experience in domestic or social housing environments.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsabilidades

• Attend reactive repairs and routine repairs, including emergency callouts on a rota.
• Complete second fix tasks in occupied residential properties, mainly carpentry but also plumbing and plastering.
• Engage with residents and work collaboratively with team to deliver high quality repairs.
• Apply fault finding skills to resolve issues quickly and safely.

The Multi Trade Operative role:

• Health & Safety first-We're committed to keeping you safe, happy, and supported. Safety is central to every aspect of this role, for you, us, and our customers
• Multi trade work-Complete second fix tasks in occupied residential properties, predominantly in carpentry but also inplumbingand plastering.
• Customer focused-Enjoy working in domestic environments, engaging with residents and collaborating with your team.
• Problem solving-Apply fault finding skills in domestic settings to resolve issues effectively. You will be resilient and confident in the speed and quality of the repairs you deliver.
• Responsive repairs-Attend reactive, emergency, and routine repairs, with occasional planned refurbishment in void properties. (Emergency call out on a rota basis)

What you will bring as a Multi Trade Operative:

You will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), ideally in Carpentry,with experience in domestic or social housing environments, desirable, but not essential.

With a genuine passion for improving people’s homes, you bring strong customer service skills and enjoy working with others. A full UK driving licence is required.
