Job summary

Sanctuary Group in Liverpool is recruiting a Multi-Trade Operative (Joiner) to carry out general building repairs and maintenance in tenanted properties. The role comes with a company van and tools provided, covering Liverpool and surrounding areas.

You will perform carpentry, plumbing, plastering, and window/door installation per contract specs; ensure safety and quality, keep customers informed, and demonstrate excellent service and communication. Full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Qualified to NVQ Level 2 in a core trade (carpentry or electrical); bring originals to interview.
• If Plumbing Level 3 is required, Unvented - G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS) may be needed.
• Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted; originals only for verification.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications
• Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition
• Responding promptly to complaints and breakdowns, informing customers of progress
• Providing accurate and timely information on work progress to the customer

Multi-Trade Operative (Joiner)

Liverpool

£35,579 - £37,452 per year

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday

We have an opportunity for two Multi-Trade Operatives to join our team based in Liverpool. Within the role you will be covering all aspects of general building repairs and maintenance, in tenanted properties. With a company van, for business use only, and tools included the role will cover Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

The role of Multi-Trade Operativewill include:

• Carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications
• Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition
• Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
• Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer

Skills and experiences:

• To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical. If Plumbing Level 3 is required, Unvented - G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS). As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
• Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation
• Skills in some of the following disciplines – plumbing, plastering, joinery and windows and door installation
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines and plan ahead
• This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
