You will perform responsive repairs across properties, using multiple trades to achieve high-quality outcomes and maintain safe working environments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Multi Trade Operative, ideally in social housing or property maintenance.
• Strong practical skills across multiple trades.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance within social housing properties.
• Completing a range of multi-trade works to a high standard.
• General carpentry and joinery repairs.
• Basic plumbing repairs.
• Tiling, patching and making good.
• Plastering and decorating.
• Repairing doors, locks, fixtures and fittings.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Providing a professional service to residents and clients.
• Completing jobs using a PDA/mobile system and updating records where required.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a well-established social housing contractor, working across properties throughout East London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for consistent work, competitive rates and the use of a company van and fuel card.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance within social housing properties
• Completing a range of multi-trade works to a high standard

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence
• Own basic hand tools
