Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Multi Trade Operative to deliver plumbing and joinery repairs in social housing tenanted properties. The role involves working on voids and responsive repairs with a focus on safety and quality, using a live job system.

Requirements include NVQ training in plumbing or joinery and a full UK driving licence. DBS check and a willingness to cover site-based duties across Edinburgh, Dundee, Fife and surrounding areas are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Location

Location: Site based covering Edinburgh, Dundee, Fife and surrounding areas. Standard Hours Monday- Friday 40 hours plus out of hours on call.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi Trade Operative to join Novus Property Solutions, Responsive Repairs division, providing high-quality plumbing repairs and replacement services within Social Housing tenanted properties

An Outline Of Your Responsibilities And Experience

• Applications are welcome from experienced candidates that have a Multi Trade Operative background, plumbing/joinery experience essential. The works include the repairs or replacement of various Sanitaryware items including toilets, baths, shower trays, basins, taps
• Pipework installation and repair, soil stacks and domestic drainage
• Basic joinery repairs, windows, doors, kitchens, painting & patch plastering is desirable.
• Working in tenanted properties on responsive repairs.
• Social Housing experience is essential.
• Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.
• Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively
• Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes
• Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
• NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing or Joinery or NVQ Level 2 Property Maintenance knowledge and qualifications are advantageous
• Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus.
• The role will also require a DBS check to be completed
• Full UK driving license is required
