Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to refurbish void social housing properties in sites around Bristol, South Somerset and Hampshire. The role involves delivering full-scope refurbishments across multiple trades, ensuring properties are ready for handover and working within live occupied tenanted homes.

You'll follow strict health and safety policies, hold relevant NVQ qualifications, and be comfortable using a live task system.

Qualifications

• > Experienced, multi-skilled trades person capable of delivering full-scope refurbishments on vacant social housing properties.
• > Prepared to cover multiple trades including joinery, plumbing, painting and decorating, flooring, tiling and patch plastering.
• > Able to refurbish kitchens, bathrooms, flooring installation including cap and cove, minor tiling, patch plastering, door hanging and replacement of doors/windows.

Responsibilities

• Refurbish kitchens and bathrooms to a high standard to be ready for handover.
• Carry out full-scope refurbishments on void social housing properties.
• Manage day-to-day tasks from job tickets or handheld device within a live system.
• Work across multiple trades within live occupied tenanted properties.
• Adhere to Novus Health and Safety policies and standards.
• Ensure excellent service to customers in their homes.

Job Location : Site based around Bristol, South Somerset and Hampshire.

Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus on call 1 in every 7 weeks

This is an exciting opportunity for an Multi Trade Operative to join Novus Property Solutions, within our repairs and voids division, providing high-quality refurbishment of Void (empty) Social Housing properties to a livable standard .

An outline of your responsibilities and experience

• We are seeking experienced, multi-skilled trades person with the expertise to deliver full-scope refurbishments on vacant social housing properties. Applicants should be prepared to cover multiple trades including, joinery, plumbing,painting and decorating, flooring, tiling and patch plastering.
• The role involves refurbishing kitchens and bathrooms, flooring installation including cap and cove, minor tiling, patch plastering, door hanging, and the replacement of doors and windows. All work must be completed to a high standard, ensuring properties are ready for handover on completion.
• You will work daily from job tickets or a handheld device, using a live shared system to manage and update tasks
• Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively to meet company targets
• Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes
• Following Novus' exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
• NVQ Level 2/3 Joinery or NVQ Level 2 in Property Maintenance. Plumbing, tiling, plastering skills, PASMA, IPAF knowledge or qualifications are advantageous
• Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus
• Ideally you will hold a trade qualification and the ability to work across multiple trades within live occupied tenanted properties
• This role will require a DBS check and a full UK driving licence is required.
