Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join a social housing contractor covering Cambridge and surrounding areas. The role focuses on day-to-day maintenance and a variety of trades in occupied properties, with an emphasis on safety and high-quality repairs.

You will work across Cambridge and surrounding areas, with a company van and fuel card provided and ongoing work for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Multi-Trade Operative or in a similar maintenance role.
• Competent across a range of trades.
• Experience working in social housing or domestic maintenance is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own tools and a professional, reliable approach to work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out day-to-day maintenance and repairs in social housing properties.
• Completing a range of multi-trade tasks, including basic plumbing, carpentry, patch plastering, tiling and general property repairs.
