Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join a social housing contractor for maintenance across Cambridge and surrounding areas.

You will perform day-to-day repairs across trades, including basic plumbing, carpentry, plastering, tiling and general property fixes, in occupied homes. A full UK driving licence and own tools are required to deliver high-standard service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Multi-Trade Operative or in a similar maintenance role.
• Competent across a range of trades.
• Experience working in social housing or domestic maintenance is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own tools and a professional, reliable approach to work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out day-to-day maintenance and repairs in social housing properties.
