Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is recruiting a Multi-Trade Operative for social housing repairs, maintenance, and refurbishments across void and tenanted properties in the North West. Immediate start available for a temporary ongoing role with consistent work.

The role requires experience in various trades, the ability to work independently, and a full UK driving license. Tools preferred; CSCS card advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance in social housing properties.

• Carry out basic plumbing repairs (taps, sinks, toilets, pipework).
• Patch plastering, tiling and decorating work.
• General property repairs and maintenance to a high standard.
• Deliver excellent customer service in occupied homes.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join a busy social housing contractor carrying out repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works across void and tenanted properties.

This is a temporary ongoing position with consistent work available for the right candidate.

Duties:

• Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance works on social housing properties
• Working within both occupied (tenanted) and void properties
• Joinery repairs and installations including doors, skirting, architraves, kitchens, and flooring
• Basic plumbing repairs including taps, sinks, toilets, and pipework
• Patch plastering, tiling, and decorating works
• General property repairs and maintenance
• Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard
• Delivering excellent customer service when working in occupied homes
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within social housing repairs and maintenance
• Skilled in a variety of trades with a strong all-round maintenance background
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Own tools preferred
• CSCS Card advantageous but not essential
