Job summary

Veolia is recruiting for on-site roles at Hollingdean IWF, Brighton. This 12‑month fixed term contract offers 40 hours weekly (Sun–Thu, 9am–5pm) with overtime in a facilities/operational environment.

The duties include operating Mobile Plant, loading/unloading, daily checks, and site housekeeping. Training will be provided; prior operational experience and IT skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous operational / manual handling experience.
• Experience operating Mobile Plant: Teletruck, Loading Shovel, Wheeled Materials Handler - Training can be provided.
• Good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Operating the Mobile Plant on site, completing daily checks while maintaining the equipment in line with the manufacturer's hand book.
• Loading materials in and out of the site.
• Site housekeeping and opening and closing site procedures in line with Environmental Permit and Planning conditions.
• Working at other sites within the South Downs contract area if required.
