Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services (Uk) Plc in East Sussex is seeking an on-site operative to operate Mobile Plant (Teletruck, Loading Shovel, Wheeled Materials Handler), carry out daily checks following the manufacturer's handbook, and load materials on and off site.

You will provide weighbridge cover when needed and may work at other sites within the South Downs contract. The role includes site housekeeping, traffic control and potential training where required.

Qualifications

• Operational/manual handling experience required.
• Experience operating Mobile Plant (Teletruck, Loading Shovel or similar); training may be provided.
• Good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Mobile Plant on site and perform daily checks per manual.
• Load materials on and off site.
• Provide weighbridge cover when required.
• Work across South Downs contract sites as needed.
• Maintain site housekeeping.
• Assist with traffic control.

Job description

• Operating the Mobile Plant on site, completing daily checks while maintaining the equipment in line with the manufacturer's hand book, including cleaning.
• Loading materials in and out of the site
• Provide weighbridge cover when needed
• Working at other sites within the South Downs contract area if required
• Site housekeeping
• Traffic control

• Previous operational / manual handling experience

Hours - an average 45 per week 7am- 4.30pm Tuesday to Saturday
Location - Maresfield Waste Transfer Station, East Sussex TN22 2HN
