Job summary

Veolia Group in Colwick, Nottinghamshire is seeking an experienced operations operative to operate mobile plant, baler and shredder at our bulking, treatment and transfer facility. You will manage tipping/loading turnaround times, inspect inputs and outputs, and ensure clean, compliant documentation and site conditions.

The role requires similar operational/manual handling experience and a yellow plant licence (loading shovel). Hours are 46.5 per week with overtime as needed.

• Similar operational/manual handling experience.
• Yellow plant licence – loading shovel essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant, baler and shredder.
• Ensure turnaround times for tipping/loading are met.
• Inspect input and output material and report non-conforming loads.
• Ensure the area is left clean and spillages are cleaned up.
• Complete related documentation in a timely and accurate fashion.
