Job summary

Sureserve Group is seeking a professional multi-trade technician to deliver first-time fixes across reactive repairs and planned works, including kitchen and bathroom installs/refurbs. You will work across plumbing, carpentry, decorating, plastering, tiling and flooring, in a customer-focused role with KPI targets.

Role requires full UK driving licence, IT/PDA proficiency, and a commitment to safety and quality. Training provided, competitive salary, and benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications or experience in plumbing/carpentry are essential.
• Experience in routine maintenance, service and repair in Local housing is essential.
• Experience in social housing properties desirable.
• Proficient IT skills, including email and PDA (training provided).
• Team player with good communication and organisation.
• Full valid UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing, carpentry, painting & decorating, plastering, tiling and flooring works.
• Attend works in full uniform and repair to a high standard.
• Meet KPIs around customer satisfaction and minimise call backs through first-time fixes.
• Work safely per H&S regulations, wear PPE and carry out risk assessments and method statements.
• Complete mandatory online training and H&S toolbox talks.
• Complete works daily via MRI system on PDA (training provided).
• Follow no access procedures with photography and office checks.
• Follow company procedures and order materials from approved suppliers using the PDA.
• Carry out daily van checks and complete FORS training; report license points.
• Be available on Emergency Call Out rota with standby payments.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or manager.
