Job summary

Together Housing is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to join our Salford team. You will deliver a high-quality repairs and maintenance service across our group-owned properties, often completing tasks in a single visit with a focus on Right First Time.

The role requires a full manual UK driving licence, NVQ 2/3 in a relevant trade, and strong Health and Safety knowledge. We offer a starting salary of £36,568, 27 days holiday (rising to 32), flexible working, and strong training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving license.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a relevant trade (Joinery, Plumbing, Plastering, and Tiling).
• Experience in building repairs and maintenance.
• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs to tenanted and vacant properties in line with job tickets and standards.
• Aim for Right First Time with repairs completed in one visit where possible.
• Organise work to minimise downtime and re-allocate resources as needed.
• Protect tenants' belongings, keep areas clean, be courteous and responsive to residents.
• Participate in standby/call-out rotation as required.
