Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline).
• Previous experience within logistics, manufacturing, distribution, automation, or a similar operational environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience working with automated systems, conveyors, robotics, or warehouse technologies is advantageous.
• Knowledge of maintenance systems and engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize engineering systems and automated equipment.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and reduce downtime.

Are you a motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next position? We are looking for an experienced engineer with an electrical bias to join our client's team based in Bedford. You will be working in a highly automated environment and will play a key part in maintaining and improving on-site machinery including conveyors, sortation systems, automated handling equipment, palletisers, bagger, labelling machines, etc. This is a great opportunity for an electrically biased maintenance engineer who enjoys working in a modern, technology-driven environment and has strong fault-finding abilities.
