Job summary

Imperium Recruitment is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy distribution centre in West Yorkshire. The role covers maintenance, repair and improvement of conveyors, storage systems and packaging machinery across a 3-shift pattern.

You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while keeping accurate records. A minimum Level 3 qualification and CMMS experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Qualification or Equivalent.
• Experience with fault finding and continuous improvements.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Experience with CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise equipment downtime.
• Carrying out fault-finding on motors, sensors, drives, control systems, pumps, conveyors, and other industrial equipment.
• Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Installing, modifying, and commissioning equipment where required.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing relevant documentation.
• Working closely with production and other departments to resolve engineering issues.
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company health & safety procedures.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised engineering environment.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client at their busy distribution centre in West Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a wide range of machinery, including storage retrieval systems, conveyors, A frames, box erectors, totes, banding machinery to name a few.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

• Minimum Level 3 Qualification or Equivalent
• Experience with fault finding, continuous improvements
• Previous experience in a maintenance role within the Engineering & Manufacturing sector
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
