Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is currently recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a market-leading manufacturing business in Worksop. The role involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, breakdown response and fault-finding on a range of automated production machinery to maximise uptime and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have a mechanical or electrical bias, hands-on experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment, and a Level 3 engineering

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification (NVQ or equivalent).
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Hands-on with PPM, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
• Multi-skilled with mechanical or electrical bias.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on automated production machinery.
• Perform reactive maintenance and breakdown response.
• Fault-finding to maximise plant uptime and efficiency.

Job Role of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, breakdown response and fault-finding on a range of automated production machinery, ensuring maximum plant uptime and efficiency.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias.
• Maintenance experience within a manufacturing, automated warehousing or industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience with PPM, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
• Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification, such as NVQ or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.

Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Strong hands-on mechanical or electrical fault-finding experience.
• Recognised Level 3 engineering qualification.
• Experience working within a manufacturing, industrial or automated environment.
• Ability to work effectively on a continental days and nights shift pattern.
• Strong understanding of health and safety within an industrial environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience within a highly automated production environment.
• Experience with PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, pneumatics or hydraulics.
• Experience working with high-speed production machinery.
• Previous experience supporting continuous improvement projects.
