Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd in Welwyn Garden City is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced automated environment. You’ll maintain electrical and mechanical systems, perform fault finding, breakdown response and planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime.

You’ll also support continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades, working closely with production to drive safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience within a manufacturing background or automated environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.
• Engineering Qualification

Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £48,000

Shift: Days

You’ll be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, breakdown response, and planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime. The multi-skilled maintenance engineer will also support continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades, working closely with production to drive safety and performance. • Maintenance experience within a manufacturing background or automated environment

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Ideally electrically biased
• Flexibility to work overtime and call-out rota
• Motors, sensors, inverters, control panels and three-phase systems, bearings, chains, belts, pneumatics
• Electrical fault-finding experience.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
