Job summary

Imperium Recruitment is helping our client near Birmingham recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician for a busy distribution centre. You will respond to breakdowns and lead preventative maintenance, ensuring service documentation is up to date.

The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance with pneumatics, hydraulics knowledge and CMMS usage. Nights Mon-Thu 8:00pm–6:00am, 10-hour shifts, with a salary of £49,500 including shift supplements and 22 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Minimum LEVEL 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification or Equivalent.
• Experience with fault finding, continuous improvements.
• Confident with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• IOSH and knowledge of PROFINET, PROFIBUS would be an advantage.

We are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team at our client's busy distribution centre on the outskirts of Birmingham.

This is a fast-paced environment, and you will not only be responsible for responding to breakdowns but also ensuring the planned preventative maintenance and service documentation is kept up to date.

There is a wide range of machinery on site including conveyors, picking and packing machinery, box erectors, banding machinery, palletisers to name a few.

We are looking for someone who is confident both electrically, mechanically, has good understanding of pneumatics and happy to take the lead on breakdowns when needed.
