Morgan Ryder Associates Ltd. is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician with an electrical bias to support our Chorley operations.

You will join a busy manufacturing environment, handling both electrical and mechanical maintenance, aim to minimise downtime and drive improvements across the site. The role requires apprentice-trained electrical/multi-skilled capability and experience in process plants or energy-intensive settings, with strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in a process plant, utilities or energy intensive manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
• Able to attend to both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly respond to production breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Provide technical support to shift engineers and apprentices.
• Perform essential planned maintenance and repairs.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovative project work.
• Promote and ensure adherence to Health & Safety standards.

As a Lead Electrical Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring manufacturing operations run smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

Requirements:

• Apprentice trained Electrical/Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (HNC/HND)
• Maintenance experience in a process plant, utilities or energy intensive manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise
• Able to attend to both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks
• Knowledge/experience of PLCs, Control Systems, 3 Phase Motors and Inverter Drives
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
