Morgan Ryder Associates in Chorley is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician - Electrical Bias to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. You will rapidly respond to production breakdowns, minimise downtime, and keep critical equipment operating reliably on a 4-week rotating schedule.

The role emphasizes electrical bias and hands-on maintenance, with opportunities to support shift engineers, undertake planned repairs, and drive improvements in safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained electrical/multi-skilled maintenance engineer with HNC/HND.
• Experience in process plants, utilities or energy-intensive manufacturing environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
• Ability to perform both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, 3-phase motors and inverter drives.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond rapidly to production breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Provide technical support to shift engineers and apprentices.
• Perform essential planned maintenance and repairs.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovative project work.
• Promote and ensure adherence to Health & Safety standards.
