Responsibilities include responding to breakdowns, manual and electronic record-keeping, and servicing machines and equipment. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of maintenance experience, knowledge of electrical regulations, and be familiar with CNC machining. Job description

Responsible for: Ensuring all facilities and machinery are repaired, maintained and improved Job role Providing an efficient and effective maintenance service ensuring all machinery and facilities are maintained and improved both electrically and mechanically through the planned maintenance schedule process and the maintenance job card system.

• To respond to breakdowns through the job card system and in line with the priority system
• To carry out maintenance and improvement tasks through the job card system
• To record breakdown and task information on completion of repair or improvement using the appropriate system both manual and electronic
• To carry out servicing of machines and ancillary equipment as per the relevant schedules
• To carry out facility repairs and maintenance as per the schedule or as and when required
• To source and obtain parts and materials as required following the procedures of the procurement system
• To work with production teams in the introduction of new or the relocation of existing plant and machinery from initial request through to commissioning and hand over to production.
• To maintain the relevant stock levels of spares and consumables reviewing and updating the register
• To ensure the correct tools and equipment are available to carry out the tasks and repairs
• To ensure 5S standards are maintained in the maintenance workshop at all times
• To ensure all work is carried out to relevant regulations and health and safety standards
• To support the development and improvements in manufacturing through implementation of Lean and Continuous Improvement opportunities
• Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standard and that all relevant company Health and Safety and Environmental requirements are fully adhered to.
• Be a proactive and flexible team member, training in other disciplines where required.

• Experience in presses, threadroll machines, CNC machining, DMG Doosan, Takamaz
• 5 Years Experience ideally
• 18th Edition Electrical Regulations
