Overview

We have a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, ideally with an electrical bias, to join our dedicated Maintenance Engineering team here at Florette in Lichfield (WS13 8NF). We are able to conduct interviews at short notice for suitable candidates, so find out more below and apply today!

Responsibilities
  • Day to day upkeep of Production Equipment and Machinery.
  • Site-wide Preventative Maintenance.
  • Reacting to breakdowns quickly in order to reduce downtime.
  • Equipment repair, technical repairing, in addition to factory start up and testing.
  • The accurate and timely completion of necessary documentation.
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Recognised qualification in an engineering discipline or a recognised apprenticeship in engineering, ideally at NVQ Level 3 or similar.
  • Experience of repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment in a controlled manufacturing environment.
  • A Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong diagnostic fault finding capability.
  • Awareness and understanding of statutory requirements and legislation.
  • A proactive Health and Safety mindset with excellent attention for detail.
