Job summary

NT Engineering & Manufacturing in East Kilbride is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team. This role focuses on planned and preventative maintenance across production equipment and lines, with a 7 day fortnight shift pattern and no night shifts.

You will fault find, restore plant quickly and safely, record work in the CMMS, and contribute to continuous improvement to boost equipment reliability while working as part of a skilled, close-knit team.

Qualifications

• Qualified multi-skilled engineer with mechanical or electrical bias.
• Experience in FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Able to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer | East Kilbride

A well established, multi-site manufacturer is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team at their East Kilbride site.

This is a strong opportunity for a mechanical or electrical bias engineer looking for good money on a shift pattern that protects your time off, 7 day fortnight, no night shifts involved.

What you'll be doing:

• Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance across production equipment and lines
• Responding to breakdowns, fault finding and getting plant back up and running quickly and safely
• Booking work through the site CMMS, keeping accurate records of activity and materials used
• Getting involved in continuous improvement work to help drive equipment reliability
• Working as part of a skilled, close knit engineering team

What's needed:

• Qualified multi-skilled engineer, mechanical or electrical bias considered
• FMCG or food manufacturing background preferred, though other fast-paced manufacturing environments will be considered
• Comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a team
• Self motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving
