Job summary

McCain Scarborough is seeking a proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer to maintain and optimise site equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will diagnose faults, drive continuous improvement, and work with production teams to uphold safety standards and performance.

Qualifications

Proven maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
Strong fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of SCADA systems and PLC fault finding (desirable).
Understanding of lean manufacturing and modern maintenance techniques.
Familiarity with health and safety legislation and safe systems of work.
Experience using a CMMS or similar maintenance tool.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site to keep plant running safely.
Diagnose faults quickly and identify root causes with lasting fixes.
Collaborate with production teams to meet standards and communicate issues clearly.
Lead continuous improvement and find smarter, faster ways to operate.
Utilise CMMS to maintain accurate records of work completed.
Support lean practices and ensure safety is prioritised on site.
Organise shift workloads and provide technical support and contractor oversight at senior levels.
