Job summary

Escape is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in South Ayrshire to support high-volume production and facilities. You will perform mechanical, electrical and basic automation maintenance to keep plant operations safe, reliable and efficient.

Key duties include fault finding on conveyors, pumps, fans and process machinery, maintaining motors and instrumentation, and participating in planned and reactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing or process environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Confident communicator and team player.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding on equipment across the factory, including conveyors, process machinery, pumps and fans.
• Maintain efficient running of motors, drives, panels and instrumentation
• Planned and reactive maintenance across production and utilities
• Supporting continuous improvement and root cause analysis
• Accurate CMMS reporting and safe working practices
