As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving plant performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities will include carrying out planned preventive maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, fault finding, and implementing effective engineering solutions to minimise downtime. You will work closely with production and operational teams to support reliability, efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives across site. The role will also involve using a CMMS system to manage maintenance activities, contributing to equipment modifications and installations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant engineering, quality, and safety standards.
The successful candidate will be a qualified engineer with previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment and a strong background in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance. You should possess excellent fault-finding skills, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to work independently in a pressurised environment. Experience with planned preventive maintenance systems and controls/PLC knowledge would be advantageous. Strong organisational skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to health, safety, and continuous improvement are essential.
